Autodidact, Edvaldo is a brazillian DJ from Bahia. He has been influenced by the pioneer of the Art of Djying in Bahia, DJ Wilson, and his Mix Show. He was always tuned to productions from top DJs in Brazil and World, searching references, mainly House and R&B scene’s releases. In partnership with DJs Edilson and Adriano Veloso, Edvaldo had developed the 3 H.O.T.S. (3 Heads On the Studio). They’ve been producing remixes, vignettes, radio spots, openings for clubs and albuns. In 1997 he won the Contest of Remixes from Fieldzz (a brazillian label) and DJ Sound (a Dance Music magazine). The Contest included competitors from Brazil, Latin America and Japan. In early 2001, due to another Contest of Remixes from Sony Music, Edvaldo had another remix released: “There's no sunshine anymore" by Jon Secada. Since 2001 Edvaldo has been working in Rio de Janeiro, after DJ Meme’s invitation. They’ve mixed together lots of artists: Technotronic, Jorge Vercilo, Chris Duran, Dido, Luciana Mello, Fernanda Abreu, Kid Abelha, Tim Maia among so many others. He was resident DJ in Carioca 54, club specialized in Classics from 70’s and 80’s in Rio de Janeiro .
